Athletics Stadium Construction Begins on Tropicana Site
Construction officially began on the new $1.5 billion Major League Baseball stadium for the Athletics on the former Tropicana site at the South Strip. The 33,000-seat ballpark is targeted for opening day 2028 and will anchor a new integrated resort.
