Key Largo Casino
About
The Key Largo Casino had a long history under multiple names starting as the Ambassador Inn in 1973. It subsequently operated as La Mirage, Anthony's Casino, and the Quality Inn & Casino before becoming the Key Largo Casino & Hotel in 1997. Located on East Flamingo Road near the Strip, it was a budget-friendly option for travelers seeking affordable accommodations close to the action. The property featured 314 rooms, a modest 15,000 square foot casino with just 4 table games and 245 slot machines, and a small sportsbook. The Key Largo closed on January 18, 2005, for a planned redevelopment that never materialized. The building sat vacant for years before being demolished in 2013, and the site remains undeveloped.
