The original Aladdin Hotel & Casino was an Arabian Nights-themed resort that operated from 1966 to 1997. The property gained fame as the venue where Elvis Presley married Priscilla Beaulieu on May 1, 1967. The Aladdin went through multiple ownership changes and financial difficulties before being imploded on April 27, 1998. A new Aladdin was built on the site in 2000, which later became Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in 2007.
